Creating Your First Headshots
This guide covers the complete end-to-end flow for an individual user: choosing a package, completing checkout, uploading photos, selecting styles, and retrieving your final headshots.
How it works

Start at /app/add. You will be asked whether you are creating headshots for yourself or setting up a team account. Choose "Create headshots for myself."

Select your package. The package selection screen shows Basic ($29), Professional ($39), and Executive ($59) side by side with their included headshot counts, photo credits, resolution, and estimated turnaround time. The Professional package is flagged as the most popular. Click the button on your chosen package to proceed to checkout.

Complete checkout. The checkout page shows a full order summary. Enter your payment details — HeadshotPro accepts major cards via Stripe, PayPal, and HitPay. After payment is confirmed you are automatically redirected into the upload flow.

Review the onboarding intro. A brief screen confirms what to expect: the upload process takes up to 10 minutes, and you should be rested and dressed as you would for a professional photo.

Upload your selfies. Upload 1 to 3 photos of yourself, plus an optional full-body photo. You can scan a QR code to upload directly from your phone camera roll (recommended) or drag-and-drop from your computer. Use clear, recent photos with your face clearly visible and in good lighting. The upload step will not let you continue until you have at least one accepted photo.

Add your personal info. Enter your name and optionally your job title. This information guides the AI in generating headshots that match your appearance and is deleted once your shoot is complete.

Select your styles. Pick the backdrop and outfit combinations you want your headshots generated in. Basic package users receive preselected combinations. Professional and Executive users choose from thousands of available styles. You can let HeadshotPro choose for you if you prefer.

Confirm and submit. Review your uploaded photos and selected styles on a summary screen. Click "Submit my photos" to hand off to the AI. Your photos cannot be changed after this point.

Wait for results. HeadshotPro processes your shoot. Generation is fast — your headshots are typically ready within minutes. You will receive an email when your headshots are ready.

Browse and download. Your dashboard at /app shows your completed shoot. Open it to browse all headshots, mark favorites, and download. Headshots are available in portrait or landscape format depending on your package.
Good to know
- Results are deleted after 30 days. Download your favorites before then.
- If your initial results are not what you expected and your package includes a free redo (Professional or Executive), you can restart the shoot with new selfies at no extra charge.
- If checkout fails or you are redirected back with
?payment=failedin the URL, your payment was not processed — try again or use a different payment method. - Existing customers who already have a package skip the payment step and go directly to the upload flow.
