What HeadshotPro does with your photos after you submit — from validation to AI headshot generation
Processing and Generation
After you submit your photos on the confirmation screen, HeadshotPro hands off your session to the AI pipeline. You are redirected to a waiting screen that updates automatically. Once your headshots are ready, you are automatically redirected to your results.
How it works
- Confirmation and submission — On the final confirmation screen, you review your uploaded photos, personal info (name, gender, eye color, glasses preference), and your selected backdrop/clothing styles. You agree to the terms, check that your photos are your best, and click Submit my photos.
- Validation — HeadshotPro verifies that you have provided your name, gender, eye color, glasses preference, at least one photo, and at least one style selection. If anything is missing, submission is blocked with an error message.
- Queued for processing — Your session enters the processing queue. If your organization has manual review enabled, an admin reviews your submission before processing begins.
- Photo processing — HeadshotPro prepares your photos for AI generation.
- Headshot generation — HeadshotPro generates headshots for each backdrop and clothing combination you selected, plus a set of pre-selected styles added automatically based on your package.
- Completion — When generation finishes, the waiting page detects this and redirects you to your results dashboard automatically.
Good to know
- HeadshotPro sends a confirmation email when your photos are successfully submitted. Check your inbox after you click Submit.
- The waiting screen updates automatically. When processing completes, the page redirects you to the results dashboard.
- The number of headshot styles generated depends on your package. HeadshotPro also adds pre-selected combinations on top of your choices.
- The headshot format you selected during onboarding (3:2 standard or 4:5 portrait) is applied during generation. The 4:5 portrait format is available on the Executive package.
- Personal information (name, gender, eye color, glasses preference) is used to guide the AI during generation and is deleted after your headshots are completed.
- If you had a previous active headshot session and your organization has renewal enabled, your old models are marked as deleted when you submit a new session. Your new headshots replace the old ones.
