Deleting Your Data

How to delete your HeadshotPro account, what data is removed, and what cannot be recovered afterward.

Deleting Your Data

You can permanently delete your HeadshotPro account directly from your profile page. Deletion is irreversible and removes all personal data associated with your account.

Team members and team leads cannot self-delete — contact your team lead or HeadshotPro support directly.

How it works

  1. Go to /profile.
  2. Click Delete my account. A confirmation dialog opens.
  3. Read the warnings. Two conditions apply before deletion proceeds:
    • HeadshotPro cannot refund any payments you have made.
    • There is no way to restore your account once it is deleted.
  4. Type your account email address exactly into the confirmation field.
  5. Click Delete my account. Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately.
  6. You are logged out automatically. A confirmation email is sent to your address.

What gets removed

  • Your login credentials.
  • All AI models associated with your account are permanently deleted.
  • All profile picture data (rendered profile pictures and source images).
  • Your personal information: name, email, payment details (Stripe and PayPal references), address, country, and referral history. These fields are overwritten with anonymized values.
  • Your subscriber record in HeadshotPro's email platform (Bento).

Good to know

  • Deletion begins immediately after you confirm and typically completes within minutes.
  • Your email address is replaced with a randomly generated placeholder after deletion, so it cannot be used to look up your record.
  • Payments and invoices processed through Stripe or PayPal are not deleted from those third-party platforms — HeadshotPro only removes its own references to your payment identifiers.
  • If you want to unsubscribe from emails without deleting your account, visit /profile/unsubscribe or use the unsubscribe link in any HeadshotPro email.
  • If you have already requested deletion and try to request it again, you will see an error message indicating the deletion is already in progress.
