How to download individual photos or your full set as a ZIP file

Downloading Headshots

HeadshotPro provides two download paths: download individual photos directly from the gallery, or request a ZIP file containing a batch of photos delivered to your email. Both paths work from your results page.

How it works

Downloading a single photo

  1. Hover over any photo in the gallery (or tap on mobile) to reveal the action toolbar.
  2. Click the cloud download icon or the "Download" button in the actions dropdown.
  3. The browser fetches the full-resolution image and saves it directly to your device. The download is tracked, and the photo is marked as downloaded in your account.
  4. On mobile, the download button appears as a large primary button over the photo. On desktop, it appears as an icon in the inline toolbar.

Downloading all photos as a ZIP

  1. Click "Download all" in the left sidebar (desktop) or via the floating action button (mobile). It is also accessible from the Downloads tab.
  2. A modal asks for your email address. Enter the address where you want to receive the download link.
  3. HeadshotPro creates a ZIP file for you. You receive an email with a download link when it is ready. The ZIP appears in the Downloads tab in your gallery as well.
  4. From the Downloads tab, click the Download button next to any completed ZIP. Large sets may be split into multiple parts, labeled Part 1, Part 2, etc.
  5. The Downloads tab shows each ZIP's name, status (Processing / Ready / Expired), category, creation date, and expiry date.

File formats and resolution

  • All photos download as JPG files.
  • Standard photos are delivered at the resolution produced by the AI model. Upscaling a photo (costs one photo credit) increases resolution before downloading.
  • If your organization has configured custom output sizes, additional "Download NxNpx" options appear in each photo's actions dropdown. These resize the photo on demand before downloading.

ZIP file expiry

ZIP download links expire 7 days after creation for security. You can generate a new ZIP at any time by clicking "Download all" again from your gallery — there is no limit on how many ZIPs you can create.

Good to know

  • Large sets (many photos or high-resolution files) may take several minutes before the ZIP email arrives.
  • If a ZIP fails to generate, you can create a new download from the Downloads tab.
  • You can create up to 5 ZIPs per 12-hour window.
  • If your photos are nearing their 30-day expiration date, a red banner appears at the top of the results page reminding you to download before deletion.
