Photos Removed for Likeness

Why some photos are removed from your results because they do not look enough like you, and how the replacement credits work

Photos Removed for Likeness

Every generated photo is checked against your selfies. Photos that do not look closely enough like you are removed before you see them, and HeadshotPro gives you extra photo credits so you can replace them. You never pay for a photo that did not look like you.

How it works

  1. After your shoot finishes, HeadshotPro compares each photo with your selfies.
  2. Photos that fail the likeness check are removed from your gallery.
  3. A banner at the top of your results page tells you how many were removed: "We removed N photos that didn't look closely enough like you".
  4. The same banner confirms your replacement credits: "We've given you N extra credits — click 'New photo' to generate replacements".
  5. Click New photo, pick a backdrop and outfit, and use those credits to create replacements.
  6. Click Dismiss to hide the banner. The credits stay on your shoot.

Good to know

  • You get one extra photo credit for every photo that was removed.
  • If every photo in the shoot fails the check, the banner says "All photos in this shoot didn't match your selfies" and you are credited for a full re-run. Use New photo to generate a new set, or contact support if it happens again.
  • A high number of removed photos usually points to the selfies. Clear, well-lit selfies where you face the camera give the AI a better reference. If you want to start over with better selfies, use Redo with new selfies. See Regenerating Headshots.
  • Likeness removal is separate from the content check that hides unprofessional photos. See Headshot Quality.
