Editing Headshots: Overview

A summary of every way you can edit and customize your generated headshots after a shoot completes.

Editing Headshots: Overview

After your AI headshot shoot completes, every photo in your results gallery is editable. You can swap backdrops, change outfits, adjust your expression, modify your hairstyle, clean up the image, or generate entirely new variations — all from the same photo detail panel. Each edit generates a new photo without overwriting the original, so your results gallery keeps growing as you experiment.

Edits consume photo credits. The number of credits available depends on your package. The edit panel always shows how many credits remain before you commit to a change.

Editing capabilities

Editing is split into three sections:

  • Create — Open the photo in the Profile Picture editor to produce a customized profile image. Free for individual users.
  • Quick Edits (1 credit each) — Remove blemishes, expand the photo canvas with a selectable buffer amount (10%, 20%, or 30%), or upscale to 4K resolution. Upscale is only shown if the photo has not already been upscaled.
  • Transform Photo (1 credit each) — Change background, change outfit, or change expression. These options only appear if your uploaded photos are available for the model.

How credits work

Each edit deducts one photo credit from your model. When a credit-consuming edit is submitted, the credit is deducted immediately. Your new photo appears once processing completes.

If you run out of credits, an upsell prompt offers an additional 10-credit pack.

Processing time

Edits are processed automatically. After submitting, a confirmation message confirms the edit has started. Processing typically takes a few minutes. In some cases it can take up to 4 hours. Refresh the results page to see the completed photo.

Good to know

  • Edits always produce a new photo — the original is never modified.
  • The transparent background version of a photo can be downloaded directly once generated.
  • Blemish removal can only be applied once per photo. The option disappears from the menu after it has been used.
  • The Upscale option is available once per photo. After upscaling, the option disappears.
