Regenerating Headshots

How to request new headshots when you're not satisfied, and how retries and credits work

Regenerating Headshots

If your initial results do not meet expectations, HeadshotPro lets you request a full reshoot or generate new photos using photo credits.

How it works

Request a retry (reshoot)

If you are unhappy with the results, you can request a retry within 14 days of your shoot finishing.

  1. On your results page, click "Request retry" in the sidebar (desktop) or via the floating action button (mobile). The button only appears if you have retries remaining and the 14-day window has not expired.
  2. A confirmation modal appears asking for the reason you are unhappy. Providing feedback is optional but helps improve future results.
  3. Confirming the reshoot deletes all existing photos, resets your photo slots, and returns your model to the onboarding state. Your photo credits are restored to the original package amount.
  4. You re-upload a selfie and go through the photo guide steps again before a new batch generates.
  5. Your remaining retries decrease by 1 with each reshoot. Once you have used all retries, the retry button disappears.

All standard packages (Basic, Professional, Executive) include 1 free retry.

Generate new photos with photo credits

After confirming your keepers, you can use photo credits to generate new backdrop and outfit combinations on top of your existing face data — without a full reshoot.

  1. Click "New photo" in the sidebar or floating action button. The style selection modal opens.
  2. Choose a backdrop style and outfit. Each combination costs 1 photo credit. You can see your remaining credits in the interface.
  3. After saving, new photos generate in the background. An amber "Generating new photos..." banner shows in the gallery until they appear.
  4. New photos appear in the grid sorted to the front, and a "New photos" tab badge shows the count.

To purchase additional photo credits, click the credit counter or the "Get more photos" prompt, which opens the photo credits purchase modal.

Good to know

  • The retry option expires 14 days after the shoot finishes. After that, the "Request retry" button is hidden even if retries remain.
  • A reshoot fully deletes all previously generated photos. There is no way to recover them after confirming the reshoot.
  • Upscaling a photo (increasing resolution) also costs 1 photo credit.
  • If a generated photo fails, it is excluded from the main grid automatically.
