The New AI Model for Teams

What changed with the latest AI model: 2–3 selfies instead of 15, 40 headshots per person, self-serve redos, and how to upgrade an older team.

The New AI Model for Teams

HeadshotPro's latest AI model makes more realistic headshots from far fewer photos. New teams are on it from day one. Teams created earlier were upgraded for free on September 17, 2026; any team that had not upgraded by then was moved over automatically. The price per person did not change.

How it works

  1. Each member uploads 2 to 3 selfies instead of 15.
  2. Headshots are ready in minutes instead of hours.
  3. Each member gets 40 headshots: 24 generated up front, plus 16 edit credits to create variations, change an outfit or backdrop, or expand a photo.
  4. Members who are not happy with the result can redo the shoot with new selfies themselves, free, within 60 days. You can also start a new shoot for anyone from Members.
  5. Your backdrops, outfits, templates and unused credits all carry over. Nothing needs to be set up again.

Good to know

  • The upgrade is free and the price per credit is the same.
  • A shoot that started on the previous model finishes on the previous model. New invites use the latest model.
  • If your organization is still on the previous model, the setting Upgrade to latest AI model is under Settings → Headshots. The dashboard also shows an upgrade banner.
  • Settings that only apply to the new model, such as Hide appearance options for team members, appear once the upgrade is on.
  • The photo requirements changed with the model: good light, face the camera, no other people in the frame. The old guidance about 15 varied photos no longer applies.
