Phil was our wedding photographer in March 2018 and we could not have been happier with his work. We were super impressed with his professionalism, organisation and easy-going, relaxed manner on the day. Leading up to our wedding Phil made the time to discuss the style of photos we wanted to achieve, how we wanted the day to run and also took us on location scouts to choose the perfect spots for our photos to be taken. We were absolutely thrilled with all the images he took as they perfectly captured all our special moments. Our friends and family have been so impressed and complementary about our wedding photos too! Phils images have a beautifully romantic, natural and creative feel to them which was just what we wanted. We would highly recommend Phil to any couple looking for a great wedding photographer.

Phil captured our wedding back in Feb '17. Neither myself, or my Husband, were familiar with Gisborne - the location of our big day. Phil was amazing at suggesting local photo locations and picked the perfect place for us to take our photos on the day. He was very professional throughout the whole process and was very easy to deal with. We received lots of great feedback from our guests in regards to Phil and the bridal party loved him. He made the photo session fun and relaxed for us all. We are totally in love with our images and were blown away when they arrived. I would highly recommend Phil to anyone who wants an amazing photographer to capture their special day - you won't regret it!

Both me and my husband are shy and uncomfortable in front of a camera but Phil made us feel relaxed in the midst of our hectic wedding day. He is so friendly, genuine and warm and easily tunes in with the vibe you are going for. Plus he knows how to calm down stressed brides-to-be, I was totally one of them. Our friends and guests had nothing but good things to say about him too. We made the right choice with Phil as he captured our day perfectly. We highly recommend him to anyone!

We got married in December 2016, just 15 days after our daughter was born. Phil is a really relaxed and down to earth guy and it was so great to have him there. He knows what he's doing, he can grab the attention of the whole crowd as well as blend in and take amazing in-the-moment pictures. My mother-in-law thought he was one of my husband's friends when he walked in and instantly got on with everybody. He had some good recommendations and ideas as how to make our day as smooth and stress free as possible. I highly recommend Phil to anyone, his pictures are simply fantastic!

I was lucky enough to win a giveaway from hazel blue photography and what an experience! She was so easy to communicate with and so so lovely to talk to. This was my 1st photoshoot ever and for it to be a maternity shoot made it even more special. I was treated like a Queen, she even carried my bag & dress around to each different spot for me and provided 2 beautiful gowns that I got to try on a couple days before the shoot. Bonus: all of the photos were all ready and sent only 17 hours after the shoot! And I was super happy with every single shot 🥰 so so thankful for such a beautiful experience!

I cannot believe how amazing the photos turned out! They are magical! The magic started with Maria having lots of tricks & techniques to get my little one to sit & pose long enough for pictures, including bubbles & snacks. I'm definitely going to do this again. Highly recommend Hazel Blue Photography!
