Style Presets

Style presets are the backdrops and clothing options your team members can choose from when generating their headshots. As a Team Lead, you curate the approved pool — members only see and select from what you allow. This keeps results on-brand without requiring members to make unconstrained choices.

Backdrops and clothing are configured separately, but they work together: each backdrop generates photos paired with the outfit the member selects for that backdrop.

How it works

Backdrops

1. Go to Admin > Backdrops.
2. Browse the backdrop library. Custom backdrops uploaded by your organization appear first.
3. Click a backdrop to add it to your selection. The panel on the right tracks your current selections and photo count.
4. Click Save changes when your selection is complete.
5. To add a custom backdrop, click Add custom backdrop and upload a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image (max 5 MB). The image goes through content moderation and is upscaled to HD (2048 px) if needed. You can create up to 12 custom backdrops per organization.
6. To delete a custom backdrop you created, hover over it and use the delete control.

Selection limits: Select a minimum of 1 backdrop with no upper limit. Each selected backdrop generates 6 photos. Members then pick their 4 favorites for their initial shoot, and receive 26 additional free picks from the full pool.

Clothing

1. Go to Admin > Clothing.
2. The Approved outfit options card shows your current selection.
3. Use Add recommended to populate a curated starter set, or browse and select individual items. Outfits are organized by gender (male / female).
4. Use Add all to approve the entire catalog, or Remove all to clear the selection.
5. Click Save changes. You must approve at least one outfit per gender before saving.

Members choose from your approved outfits when setting up their shoot. They can pick a different outfit for each backdrop individually.

Backdrop and Clothing Combos

For tighter control, use Admin > Combos to define fixed backdrop-and-outfit pairings. Each combo links one backdrop to one male outfit and one female outfit. You need exactly 8 combos to unlock bulk upload and other advanced team features. Members assigned to a combo workflow do not choose freely from the backdrop and clothing pools; the combinations are predefined.

Per-team overrides

If your organization has multiple teams, you can configure different backdrop and clothing selections per team:

1. On the Backdrops or Clothing page, use the Configure for dropdown to select a team.
2. Adjust the selection for that team and save.
3. The team indicator shows whether a team is using organization defaults or a custom override.
4. To revert a team to the organization defaults, click Reset to organization defaults.

Good to know

• Changes to backdrops and clothing apply to future shoots only. Members who have already started their shoot are not affected.
• Custom backdrops are not moderated for quality by HeadshotPro. Results may vary compared to standard backdrops.
• Custom backdrops are only visible to your organization.
• The Force backdrop variety toggle (available when 4+ backdrops are selected) prevents members from reusing the same backdrop multiple times in a single shoot. Disable it to allow a consistent single-backdrop look across the team.
• Completing the backdrop and clothing setup marks the corresponding onboarding tasks as done in your admin checklist.
