Jon is the absolute best headshot photographer there is! I had been interested in booking a session after seeing a friend's profile picture and Jon's spotlight on LinkedIn. I immediately reached out to ask questions and I was lucky enough that Jon had availability to book a session the following week. I selected to have a hair and makeup artist at the session and immediately became friends with Cori once I arrived and Jon helped me bring in enough garment bags to fill 2 racks! I loved the attention to detail from the moment I arrived. I was given star treatment for my hair and makeup session. The fun really began when Jon picked up his camera and started "facial coaching" me. I had the best time. Although I had several wardrobe changes and Jon made sure that I was happy when the photos I selected, the time went by very fast. Once I received my headshots, I could not choose which one (they were all fantastic) to use as my profile, so Jon helped me. Since the updated headshot, I started receiving phone calls, texts, and messages from friends, former colleagues, and new connections with compliments and offers to assist me with my current work transition. More than a photo. This was an experience from the moment I walked through the door. Jon took my wardrobe bag full of options and guided me down the stairs to his studio. I sat in the hair and makeup chair letting Cory do her thing. We did test shots and touch ups to ensure the colors were natural under the Hollywood photoshoot lights. Jon coached me to smile, a little or a lot. He used his humor to ensure the big smiles looked natural in each shot. He guided my chin, neck, shoulders and back so that the angles of my face appeared confident, approachable, trustworthy and pronounced. He talked me through various eye expressions and when to fix an out of place hair. The coolest part was seeing each photo every 4-5 shots on his laptop which made it more fun. We picked our favorites as we progressed through the shoot. He changed the canvas backdrop to balance the color of each new shirt. I trusted him completely - he clearly knew his stuff! I felt like a movie star under the bright professional lights. My photoshoot began with a "need" for an updated professional headshot but it turned out to be much more than that. He told me exactly what to expect and do. I felt confident and even got to see my images as we were shooting. I had my first DC headshot, and am so glad my work booked it in with Moshe! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. There were facilities to touch up, and the studio was really comfortable. Of course, we cannot forget Gabe and his sweet cuddles (If you know, you know!). My headshot came out amazing, and I felt well guided by Moshe at all times. The headshot process with Jared was simple and seamless. I booked online at a time and location that worked for me, he sent great preparation instructions, and I showed up. He was ready and our whole session took less than an hour (I'm really decisive, some may spend longer choosing their final shots). Jared is fantastic at what he does and is down-to-earth. He is flexible with his schedule and has convenient studio locations. The video he has on his website allowed me to understand his process even before I arrived at the studio. During the shoot, he made me feel comfortable, gave advice on outfits, helped me try several different looks, and explained what the photos would end up looking like. In post-processing of the photos, he works Photoshop magic and asks for your feedback for any additional revisions you might want. And by magic, I really mean he can do quite a bit! He fixed up my tie. I wholeheartedly recommend Jared.

After some research, I selected Washington DC Headshots to take corporate headshots that I needed for an Executive bio. Kristina was my photographer and she was great from our first interaction over e-mail as we refined and clarified what I needed done. I needed a make-up artist and she recommended Jesse who did a great job on-site the day of the photos were taken. Kristina was very professional and it was very enjoyable experience working with her. I brought a few options to wear and she made great recommendations. The proofs were delivered on time and photos were great - Kristina is clearly a highly skilled photographer. Her professionalism and expertise are second to none. She also brought in a wonderful makeup artist who worked her magic. Melissa ensured I had the correct poses and stopped photographing on multiple occasions to show me unedited versions until I was completely satisfied with the look I wanted.
